Megan & Jordan | Snapper Point Engagement Shoot
Megan & Jordan’s Snapper Point Engagement Shoot - Central Coast
“We absolutely love them all. You did such a wonderful job!”
Snapper Point, situated near Catherine Hill Bay in New South Wales, is a designated conservation zone in Australia. It is positioned just a few hundred meters from Frazer Park Beach. The surrounding region of Snapper Point features rugged volcanic rocks with steep inclines, creating a distinctive and captivating landscape. This remarkable setting, enhanced by the breathtaking late afternoon golden light, renders it an ideal location for a gorgeous Central Coast engagement shoot by the ocean.
Megan & Jordan decided on a coastal engagement shoot ahead of their Hunter Valley wedding at Peterson House, a nice contrast to the vines & mountains that we'd photograph on the wedding.
We arrived and met in the car park; from there, making our way down onto the nearby beach for the first part of the shoot. As the sun started to dip behind the cliffs, we walked back onto the elevated cliff section that overlooked the beach—giving us a higher perspective over the coastline. The golden light wrapped around Meg & Jordan as they stood cliffside.
Once the sun dropped utterly, the sky shifted to more purple hues, enhancing the earthy tones of the location. One of the spots I'd always wanted to photograph was the far point out on the ridge of the cliff. A pretty sketchy spot, but well worth it for the epic shots to follow.
Snapper Point is one of the more unique and recognisable coastal spots. I cannot wait to photograph this beautiful spot again in the near future with another couple keen to explore this fantastic coastline.
