Tegan & Josh | Central Coast Wedding

Tegan & Josh’s - Central Coast Wedding

Tegan & Josh are the sort of couple who, when covid tried the stop their Central Coast wedding from happening, thought, screw this sh*t let's do something smaller. So, pressing forward with a more intimate elopement style gathering, they locked in some amazing wedding suppliers and just made it happen!

Where do I begin? The gorgeous wedding dress, the fantastic one-off terracotta suit from Rundle Tailoring, the flawless styling and just the overall vibe, the day was perfect! The Boys Studio looked after Bride Tegan at prep for Hair & Makeup, with Monty King doing his celebrant thing, absolutely smashing it out of the park with the ceremony. Hunter Valley Video had the motion side of things covered. Having worked with Hunter Valley Video countless times before for weddings & elopements, it was great to be alongside them again for this wedding to create some insane imagery!

The day started with Bride prep at Bride Tegan's, Mum's home not too far from the ceremony location. Dean & Mitch, a.k.a. The Boys Studio, covered hair & makeup for all the ladies. In what was a super chill wedding prep. Once Tegan popped on her dress and got some images with her bride tribe & family, I hit the road en route to the Ceremony location, held at Groom Josh's parent's house. A perfect setting, secluded, set back from the main road, surrounded by bushland, with exceptional styling & florals that turned a simple space into a well-styled ceremony location.

Minutes before Bride Tegan's arrival, celebrant Monty King, asked all the guests to be seated. The car arrived & Tegan hopped out with her brother walking her down the aisle. A genuinely upbeat, modern ceremony, with a nice bit of humour, delivered by Monty had all the guests loving every second of it.

Tegan & Josh made their way down the aisle with their son Ace, holding both their hands & grinning uncontrollably. Easily the most joy-filled moment of the day for this little man. A few hugs & kisses, some words of advice for the couple from a few of the older guests & it was time for some family portraits. We cruised around the property for half an hour or so before heading out for some bridal portraits.

Accompanied by a bottle of champagne, Tegan, Josh, Brodi (Hunter Valley Video) & I all piled into my car to hit up some pretty cool Central Coast spots I'd scouted earlier. The relaxed approach to the day meant the couple could just be themselves, they did whatever they wanted, and there were no set times for anything, which in a way was super refreshing!

Here's their wedding day as told in photographs! Thanks again, Tegan & Josh, for having us!
