Elizabeth & Andrew | Wallalong House Wedding
Elizabeth & Andrew's Wedding - Wallalong House - Hunter Valley
“This recommendation has been a little time coming. My wife and I were married in September of 2019. Bryce was one of the first professionals we locked in for our wedding this was done over a year beforehand.
Why did we choose Bryce?
I definitely would echo a lot of people who use his services in that without a doubt you are going to get a top tier professional on the day. But further than that Bryce touched base with us in the lead up to the wedding, invaluable to let you know that he is all over it when you aren’t constantly chasing and waiting on an answer.
On the day itself, I got a text from Bryce that he would be on-site at a given time. He was! He told us both he knew of some great locations at Wallalong house where we got married, he did! We asked that he capture two particular shots for us, Bryce did just that. Everything else we left to him. His calm commanding lead with the photos on the day meant the family shots were captured without having to spend half the time corralling people into a place. He was on hand to take any photo a guest requested while always keeping an eye on the bride and groom so none of our special moments were missed.
Not to mention the finished product! Wonderfully edited photos, a superb personal touch and plenty of after care keeping us updated when the photos would be ready! He is a busy busy guy after all.
If it sounds like I am gushing it’s because frankly, I can not recommend him enough. Bryce was nothing but refreshingly honest, respectful and professional in all my dealings with him.
Not only would I recommend him to others I HAVE recommended him to several work colleagues and friends looking for a photographer.”
I first met Andy & Elizabeth 2 years ago at their friends James & Erin's wedding at The Verandah Restaurant, Calais Estate. Which I just happened to be photographing, and Elizabeth was one of the bridesmaids.
Very soon after the wedding, I remember receiving a booking from these two legends for the wedding they were planning at Wallalong House on 21st September 2019. It felt like a long time coming, having booked almost two years out, but when it came around, it was one pretty rad wedding!!
Fast forward two years, the day started with both bride & groom prep on-site at Wallalong House, with the girls being looked after by Tanya & Deena of Chic Artistry and the guys doing a last-minute freshen up before throwing on a suit. What else would you expect? Haha.
The incredibly talented Jade McIntosh did the florals, and live music welcomed the guests, which Newcastle's finest Jerome O'Connor supplied. Celebrant Julie Muir had everyone in fits of laughter and drinking early with a ceremony full of witty remarks, flashbacks to how the two met and capped off with a shot of spirits.
As always with Wallalong House, the grounds provide an endless amount of photo locations, the sandstone stables, the main house, the immaculate gardens/grounds and everything in between. Finishing up with sunset photos at the back of the property, we then made our way up to the reception to continue into the night, celebrating with the guests while the live music continued with Jerome playing the night out.
What an awesome wedding! Thanks again, Elizabeth & Andy, for having me; it was well worth the two years wait, that's for sure!
